In order to further improve the professional and technical level of pathologists, promote academic exchanges in the field of pathology, strengthen the quality control, standardized management, and innovative development of pathology throughout the province, the Pathology Professional Committees of Yongzhou City, Shaoyang City, and Hengyang City Medical Associations successfully held the 2023 Pathology Academic Annual Conference and the Study Class on Standardized Diagnosis and New Progress of Tumor Diseases in Yongzhou City, Hunan Province from December 29 to 30, 2023.
More than 140 renowned pathology experts, leaders of pathology departments in hospitals across the province, and pathology colleagues attended the academic conference.
The conference was rich in content and brought together many well-known domestic pathology experts, including Professor Zhang Xianghong, former Vice Chairman of the Chinese Society of Pathology, Professor Zhou Jianhua, Director of the Quality Control Center of the Hunan Provincial Pathology Society, and Director of the Pathology Department of Xiangya Hospital.
